The Astral Flow Sleep Arrest Procedure

Introduction.  Astral Flow is a laboratory-tested program designed to arrest sleep and induce out-of-body travel to distant physical as well as astral realities. The program begins with a mind-clearing exercise to extinguish active thought and introduce a positive state of well-being prior to sleep. Next, a state of inner harmony is generated through inner-focusing procedures, and finally, imagery and suggestions are used during arrested sleep to induce the out-of-body state. Here is the five-step procedure:

Step 1. OBEs Conditioning
In a peaceful, relaxed setting free of distractions, settle back and affirm your intent to travel out-of-body as you sleep. Clearly specify your objectives. If possible, supplement your stated objectives with visualization, including images of the outcome of the out-of-body experience.

Upon formulating your objectives, free yourself of all active thought by envisioning your mind as a room with an open window through which your thoughts, as vaporous energy forms, can pass freely and then disappear. Continue this exercise until your mind is emptied of all worries, problems, and concerns. Should unwelcome thoughts enter your mind, do not respond to them. Rather, let them become vapor-like images that move away from you and disappear through the open window. Note the profound sense of renewal and well-being that accompanies this clearing process. 

Step 2. Inner Harmony
Center your full attention on your breathing as you develop a rhythmic breathing pattern. You will note a sense of harmony and oneness with your body as you continue to focus only on your breathing. At this moment, only your breathing is important. Pay attention to nothing else. After a short period of concentration, you will become fully absorbed in the wondrous inner world of your existence. You are, at that point, at perfect peace with your total being. Imagine peace as radiant energy infusing your body and enveloping your total being with a bright glow. By focusing on that glow, you can increase the sense of inner peace and harmony throughout your total being.

Step 3. Sleep Arrest
As drowsiness deepens, you can delay sleep by spreading the fingers of either or both hands and holding them in that spread position. As you continue to hold the finger-spread position, turn your attention to a magical garden situated somewhere in the distant astral realm. At the garden’s center, visualize bright marble steps leading up to a magnificent astral fountain sending forth a glistening spray. Holding your vision of the splendid fountain, invoke the protective presence of higher astral powers, then gradually relax your fingers and you find yourself slowly slipping up and away from your body.

Step 4. The Journey
As you remain safely out-of-body, give yourself permission to travel to the magical garden with its astral fountain and glistening spray. Let yourself slowly ascend the marble steps leading up to the fountain as you sense its energy and power. You can now fully empower yourself by stepping into the fountain's glistening spray. Take plenty of time to soak in the fountain’s radiant energy.

Once infused with the fountain’s energy, you may choose to travel to other distant realities. To travel beyond the fountain, re-affirm your intent to experience other destinations, such as a particular plane of color or a certain domain of power. When possible, use visualization of your destination to facilitate astral travel.  Once at your destination, engage it in an empowering interaction as you sense the infusion of its powers. Take time to engage it in an empowering interaction appropriate to your stated objectives. 

Step 5. The Return
Having reached your out-of-body destination and becoming infused with its powers, you can conclude the out-of-body experience by first returning to the magical fountain. Once in the fountain's presence, visualize your physical body at rest, and give yourself permission to re-engage it. Upon awakening from sleep, review the out-of-body experience and its empowering effects.

Special Application
During your visit to the fountain in Step 4, you can easily adapt the procedure to meet specific health and fitness needs. By stepping into the fountain's spray, you can energize your body, mind, and spirit with health and renewal. You can direct the fountain's energy to specific biological organs and systems, infusing them with glowing vitality. You can draw from the fountain's rejuvenating powers to either slow or, in some instances, totally arrest aging. By lingering in the fountain's spray of healing energy, you can fortify your body's immune system, restore normal functioning to your biological organs and systems, and create a state of inner harmony. To maximize these health benefits, numerous visits to the fountain may be required, but the empowering results are well worth the time and effort. What better way to spend a portion of one's sleeping hours?

Aside from its physical health applications, Astral Flow has shown considerable promise as a mental health strategy. It has been particularly effective in the treatment of sleep disturbances, such as insomnia and breathing-related sleep disorders. It has also been useful in the treatment of anxiety, depression, and obsessive-compulsive disorders, including conditions with suicidal ideations. This unique procedure taps into our wealth of inner health resources as well as the immeasurable healing potentials of higher astral planes.
