There are many kinds of rituals, from the most ornate and complex to the pure and simple, but they all break down to common purpose: They are "planting seeds" for something desired to be grown and developed in consciousness.

Consciously performing actions with goals in mind are rituals. Planting seeds in a garden can become a ritual, and it is an example of a ritual designed to produce future results. Weeding the garden can be made into a ritual and would be a ritual of weeding out the undesirable and giving a better chance for the growth of the desirable.

One can readily see that many activities are eminently suitable as little magical rituals. Other rituals can be designed to produce effects in improving health, becoming more successful in daily life, building relationships, attaining psychic powers, transforming the self, and in achieving the Conversation with one’s Holy Guardian Angel.
