The Llewellyn Encyclopedia

Term: Energy

DEFINITIONS

Energy: The ability to accomplish work. In metaphysical terms, there are two broad categories for this energy. Personal energy is created from within the body. Universal energy is exterior to the body and is either considered to be “from the universe” or from the Divine. The energy may be directed by the will for such functions as magick, healing, charging talismans, etc.
