| DEFINITIONS |
Henge: Literally a Circle dug into the earth to delineate a holy spot. The term has been conflated to mean Stone Circle due to the fame of Stonehenge. Many people think means “a stone circle,” but it really means “a circular ditch with a stone circle inside.” Some modern Druidic groups refer to the area where they meet as a Henge.
