Ritual for Daily Success
This article was written on July 25, 2008 posted under Pagan
Rise well before daybreak and pour yourself a glass of orange juice. Taking the juice with you, go outside and sit comfortably, facing East. Just as the Sun begins to rise over the horizon, hold up the glass in salute and say:Oh Fiery Globe that rises high, I toast Your birth in the dark of sky! I greet Your bright and shining rays And thank You for my life, this day! Take a sip of the juice, then sit and meditate on the properties of the Sun and all that He brings to your daily life. Watch the Sun until He rises completely over the horizon, then chant:Oh, Shining Master of Success Shine on me today and bless My dream and goals with radiant power Upon them, success and triumph shower. Drink the juice, kiss your hand to the Sun, and go about your day. From Everyday Magic, by Dorothy Morrison |
