Feng Shui for the Business-Minded

This article was written by Jose Armilla
posted under Feng Shui

Feng shui is the ancient Chinese system of harmonizing the person with his or her surroundings through the subtle manipulation of chi, or universal energy. It has gained much notoriety of late as a practice for making apartments and houses more pleasant for their owners.

Now the art of feng shui extends beyond the interior design of homes to the realm of everyday negotiation and social interaction. In the first half of Negotiate with Feng Shui, you will learn how to use feng shui to attract lucky breaks that foster win-win negotiations for both yourself and your counterpart. The second half of the book examines the secret role of feng shui in historic peace talks.

We all negotiate every day, although we might not think of many of our social interactions as negotiations. Whether you are buying a car, closing a business deal, hammering out an international treaty, or just dealing with an unruly teenager, you can use feng shui to analyze advantageous locations, select auspicious moments, and maximize compatability between the parties. You’ll even find tips for altering the bad vibrations in a meeting room.

In part two of this groundbreaking book, author Jose Armilla, a retired United States diplomat, examines how feng shui works in the "real world." Discover the role feng shui has played in historic peace talks associated with the Opium War, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and the Cold War.

Encourage success and happiness for everyone involved when you negotiate the feng shui way!

  • Learn the secrets of timing for such things as negotiating with your spouse and hassle-free travel
  • Harness dynamic forces even when you’re away from home, whether you’re in a counterpart’s unlucky boardroom or a used-car showroom
  • Use feng shui negotiation skills in purchasing a house or car, bargain hunting (even on the Internet!), taming a teenager, or dealing with a tax auditor
