In honor of this annual event, do some magic involving this lovely flower. Mums have become symbolic with the season of autumn in the United States and are sold in stores and nurseries around this time. Find a bouquet of mums or purchase a potted plant. Use these color correspondences for mums-red for love, passion, and courage; orange for success; yellow for confidence; pink for friendship; purple for spirituality; and white for peace. Choose the color that suits your need and write your goal or purpose on a piece of paper. Cut one mum flower from your plant or bouquet and wrap your paper around it. Say the following words: Nine times nine, This need is mine. With harm to none, So it be done. Bury or burn the paper and flower. |
