Spell: Spell for a Summer Drought

Use this spell to ease a summer drought. You can cast it when no rain is in sight, when rain has been predicted but has not appeared, or when it is raining but someone else is trying to send the much-needed rain away. Go outside and do any of the things that folklore associates with bringing rain, such as washing your car or hanging a load of laundry on the clothesline. While you work, chant this variant of a classic rhyme: "Rain, rain, come and stay; fall all night and fall all day!" Put as much passion as you can into the chant. When enough rain has fallen, use the original version to clear the skies: "Rain, rain, go away; come again another day!" When working weather magic, it is essential to invite the rain back later; otherwise it may take offense and stay away, causing another drought.
