Spell: What's Gone Before

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Today people in Kyoto, Japan, celebrate the Festival of the Ages, a grand parade that shows all of history, beginning with the twenty-first century. Take some time to reflect on where you came from.
On a big piece of paper, draw a timeline. Put yourself at one end, then mark points on the timeline that are important to you. These might be events in your life (relationships, achievements) or in the lives of your parents or family. But don't just stop with your family. Include the lives of favorite musicians or artists, when a hobby became popular, or dates important for your spiritual life and community or where you live.
