Summer is here, and it's time to fluff the pillows and change the sheets. It's amazing how such a simple act can refresh your mind, body, and spirit. It has been said that we spend one-third of our lives sleeping, yet sleep and nighttime rest remain elusive for many.
The essential oils of lavender and rose are uplifting, calming, and peaceful. Add several drops of each oil to a half cup of spring water and combine in a spray bottle. I like to use cobalt blue bottles, which are readily available at any natural food store. The next time you change your sheets and pillowcases, fluff your pillows and mist your entire bed with the spray. You can also mist yourself right before sleep to bring harmony to your dreamtime and relax your state of being. Keep the bottle by your bedside to use whenever the need arises. |
