Psychic Empowerment Is Not Just for People That Want to Be “Psychic!”

This article was written by Carl Llewellyn Weschcke
posted under Psychic Powers & ESP

The recently released Psychic Empowerment for Everyone by Joe Slate and myself is more than a book showing the reader how to develop natural psychic powers into trained and reliable psychic skills.

Rather, it makes the point that we are in an evolutionary progression of expanding awareness and increasing consciousness. As part of this progression we are bringing certain latent abilities into fuller expression.

Among these are two that once were more common than today: Intuition and Extended Awareness.

As we moved from pre-industrial rural cultures into the modern urban age with its natural emphasis on developing our rational mind and adding an immense amount of knowledge to our consciousness through the modern educational system and the growing resources of the computer age, most of us lost our natural intuition and extended sensibility.

Now, we are catching up with our selves, and need to revive these natural abilities to meet new challenges and restore balance to our lives.

Intuition can be defined as the “voice of the Soul” and “extended sensibility” as the natural sense of the physical body reaching out through the etheric aura to the world around. It is this that warns us of dangers lurking around the corner and behind us. It alerts us to possible harm in the food we eat, to bad character in the people we meet, and protects us against psychic dangers. It can even, sometimes, stop an accident from happening by “pushing back.”

The re-awakened Intuition is our own spiritual advisor concerned with our growth and fulfillment of this life’s purpose.

Simply “letting go” of tensions and worries can allow you to hear the voice of your Intuition and feel the messages of your extended sensibility.

But you can develop these and other of your latent abilities in the natural evolutionary progression that is part of the now firmly established New Age. This New Age is no longer a mere marketing expression or a normal phenomenon of new generations finding their own ways of generational expression and culture. This New Age is calling for new ways to replace old ways in meeting the serious challenges of these times.

Whether these comes to some kind of culmination or “re-start” on 12-21-2012 is beyond the point of this short article.

My hope is that the readers will recognize the concept of Psychic Empowerment is not the “development” or learning specific psychic powers but the natural recovery of latent abilities and their place in our natural evolution of expanding consciousness and the call to new spiritual activism as we assume greater roles in a changing civilization.

This New Age calls upon us to “become more than we are” and be more of the Whole Person we are intended to be. Your potentials are greater than our self-limiting beliefs allow—but we are learning to release those potentials and move ever onward, ever upward into a bright new world.
