Spell: Mother Goose Love Charm

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

April is dedicated to Aphrodite, the goddess of love. During the current waxing Moon, a love spell on Friday is sure to work. Try this charm from Mother Goose. Focus on what you want in a lover. Build a fire in your fireplace or in your cauldron. Throw a pinch of sea salt in the flames and say:

It is not this salt
I wish to burn,
But my lover's heart
that I wish to turn,

So that he may not rest
nor happy be,
Until he comes to me.

On Friday night I go backwards to bed,
I sleep with my petticoat
under my head,

To dream of the living and not of the dead,
To dream of the man
that I am to wed.
