Spell: Rediscovering the Maiden Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Color of the day: Purple
Incense of the day: Ylang-ylang

As the days slowly lengthen, Witches celebrate the goddess of spring, the archetypal maiden who
is symbolized by the crescent Moon rising in the east. This graceful archetype honors our autonomy, our clarity, and our vitality. Whether we are in partnership or living alone, we must first define who we are before giving ourselves to a relationship. We must honor our maiden within. Light a white candle now, and gaze at the flame. Ask yourself: What are your dreams, your desires, your strengths, your weaknesses? What mistakes have you made in the past that have brought you wisdom and insight? How have you changed from last year's spring? How have you grown? What old skins have you shed and left behind? Record your insights in your Witch's journal.
