Incense of the day: Pine To start anew at this time of year, collect circular objects-rings, buttons, bracelets, key rings-and put them in a bowl, cup, or cauldron. These should be items you have used or worn and that you have a history with or that mean something to you. Choose items that have a hole all the way through them. Consider each object-what it is actually is, how it functions, and what is symbolizes in your life. Use these items to create a spell for endings and beginnings-that is, to end a current cycle and create a new beginning for whatever your need. This can be personal or professional, or just generally for healing or renewal. Thread a string through the items, recognizing what each means to you, and as you tie the ends together in a knot, visualize the cycle you wish to complete and the new beginning you hope for. |
