Incense of the day: Peony To clean your house call upon the goddess Hestia. She is goddess of hearth and home and will aid you in your quest for a clean space. Starting in the kitchen, take a broom and sweep a circle going clockwise. Three times round go, chanting: Hestia of the hearth, Help me banish dust and dirt. Let chores go fast, Let grime beware! Make my space shine With renewed care. Follow this up with a good cleaning. You will be amazed at how well and how fast it goes. Repeat in any room where it is needed. After you are done, light a candle and leave out an offering of home-baked bread for Hestia. |
