Incense of the day: Poplar In the United States, federal income taxes are due on April 15. The day after is usually a time of considerable relief because the nerve-wracking, tedious work is finally finished-or an extension has been filed! Now is the time to get rid of the tension stored in our bodies and relax. Put on some music you can move to-something with a strong beat. Jump up and down while envisioning the tension, anxiety, and stress streaming off your body and into the earth. Do that for at least two to three minutes. Turn off the music and come to stillness, either sitting or standing. Breathe deeply and fully three times. Breathe again and envision the calm blue light of relief filling you from the top of your head to the tips of your fingers and the tips of your toes. Breathe in this light for two to three minutes. When you are done, touch your hand to the floor and send thanks to Mother Earth. |
