Incense of the day: Clove After a storm, walk through the woods looking for trees that have been damaged by the winds. When you see a broken limb, look closely at the tree where the break occurred. If you find sap running at the break, gently scrape a bit of the sap into a plain white envelope. Put a picture of yourself in the envelope. Mark the envelope with the sign of the pentacle and bury it near the base of the tree. Ask the tree to shelter you from harm and keep you safe. Promise the tree that you will care for it as well. Use a sealant on the tree at the point where the limb broke off, and add fertilizer to its roots. |
