Spell: Sunshine Tea

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Color of the day: Gold
Incense of the day: Parsley

Sunday is ruled by the Sun, of course, which relates to matters of health, power, and masculine energy. Associated gems include amber, topaz, ruby, and sunstone. Solar scents include marigold, heliotrope, rosemary, and frankincense. The colors of the Sun are rich yellows and oranges, especially in rayed patterns. Use this power to promote your health by making Sun tea. Stuff a cloth teabag with healthy solar herbs such as calendula, chamomile, cinnamon, ginseng, hibiscus, lemon, orange, and tea leaves. Fill a clear glass jug with cold water, add your tea bag, and say:

As the golden hours pass,
May Sun's power fill this glass.

Set in direct sunlight for several hours. Remove the tea bag, add honey to taste, and serve. This makes a wonderful ritual beverage.
