| Cast a spell today to surround yourself with protective energy or to protect someone you love. You'll need a piece of paper, some black pepper, and a black pen. In your ritual area, create a sacred space by welcoming the presence of the elements and the gods. Begin the spell by writing the name of the person who needs protection in the center of the paper. Draw five circles around the person's name. Take the pepper and sprinkle it over the circles and say something like:
Surrounded by protection, Surrounded by love, (name) is protected below as above. So mote it be. As you speak these words, visualize the person named surrounded by protective circles. Place it on your altar for a Moon cycle. After twenty-eight days, release it back to nature by burning it or burying it in the earth. |
