Spell: Charm for Safe Travel

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

When we wish each other "safe travel" or say, "have a good trip," we're actually administering a magical invocation of protection and safety. You can add to this effect with a travel charm. Cut a six- to eight-inch circle of blue cloth. In the center of the cloth, sprinkle a bit of lavender or sage and add small pieces of citrine, lapis, jade, and/or quartz. On a small piece of paper, inscribe the following:
I fill the bag for travel safe,
May magical powers guide
you.
Journey smoothly to your
place,
The Goddess' arms around you.
Read the charm aloud as you write, then fold the paper three times and add it to the bag. Tie the bag with a gold cord, closing it with a square knot to invoke four-sided elemental protection. Have the traveler keep the charmed amulet with them through•out their journey.
