You'll need a jar, a picture of an owl, a bowl full of coins, and olive oil to do this spell. Look for a picture of an old Greek drachma.
They have Athena's owl inscribed on them. Use a glue stick to stick the picture of the owl to the jar, and then carefully anoint the top edge of the jar with a few drops of olive oil. Place the bowl of coins and the jar near your front door. Every time you come in or leave, drop at least one coin into the jar and say:

"Lady Athena, your wisdom I borrow, I keep coins today, and keep them tomorrow."

Every time you consider a purchase, think of Athena's jar of coins and ask yourself, "Do I really need this?" By the time the holidays are here, if you are careful, you should have extra funds for shopping!
