Spell A DayShamrocks & SnakesSpell Date: Sunday, March 17, 2013
Color of the day: Gold
Incense of the day: Hyacinth
Pliny the Elder noted that snakes are never found near shamrocks. Hence, the plant has become known as a remedy for all sorts of venomous bites. With this in mind as a metaphor, today consider the most poisonous of bites in your life, whether a relationship, a sense of betrayal, a job, a living situation, or some other harmful circumstance. Now create a shamrock to cure the ill that plagues you. Onto a canvas of verdant green, draw, paint, or collage images that represent your highest ideal, your greatest good, your most whole self.
Take a moment to meditate, inviting in the power of the snake to help transform your woes. Wave your creation like a wand to dispel and conquer your troubles, thereby kissing the wound so that you may heal and grow.
