Spell: Defenders Day

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Today is the 200th anniversary of the Battle of North Point, at which the British were held back from overcoming the city of Baltimore, Maryland. During this land and sea engagement, the national anthem of the United States of America was penned by Francis Scott Key when he was detained overnight by the British in Baltimore harbor.

During the day, take some time and reflect on what it is you may need to guard, and how to secure that defense. In the evening, light three small candles in the colors of your ancestral homeland, and read the words to that country's national anthem. Allow the candles to burn down. As you drift to sleep, ask for an answer to your protection needs. Be sure to have pen and paper ready should that answer come to you in the night. In the morning, record your personal anthem of defense.
