Spell: Gandhi Jayanti

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Today is Gandhi Jayanti, the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi. It is celebrated in India with prayer, ceremony, art, singing, and, for devotees of Gandhi, refraining from meat and alcohol. It was declared the International Day of Non-Violence by the United Nations in 2007.
Meditate on peace. Imagine a problem that you have. Now imagine that there is a nonviolent, peaceful solution-you don't have to know what the solution is, just imagine that it exists. Hold the clear image of that feeling in your mind.
You're going to create art about your problem, of whatever type suits you: painting, sculpture, collage-anything. Gather your materials and focus on nonviolent solutions. Send the feeling of a peaceful solution into your materials, so that everything you use becomes a magical tool.
Place your finished work of art on your altar, knowing it is working with you toward a peaceful solution to your problem.
