Spell: Blessing with Water: Sacred Waters

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Enrich your magickal practices by collecting and creating sacred waters. A jar of spring water left out overnight to charge under a full moon carries lunar energies and is wonderful for spells involving mystery, divination, and love.
Charging water under the light of celestial bodies (planets, stars, comets) likewise infuses the water with those attributes. Water that charges throughout the day under the full summer sun is useful for magickal workings of growth, strength, power, and passion. Capture special waters for unique purposes: the first rain, the first snowfall, rain from melted icicles or hail, condensed dew, or water from river, ocean, or other bodies of water.
Use your sacred waters to clean and consecrate tools, to sip or sprinkle during ritual, for brewing infusions, or for any other magickal purpose.
(Note: Only drink wild water if fully certain it is safe to do so.)
