Lay down the Devil card. This is you now-full of potential, but chained under the Beast. Write that from which you would be freed on a piece of paper, and place it on top of the Devil. Hold the Lovers card in your hand. This is where you want to be-blessed by the Divine and free to choose your own destiny. Speak aloud: "I declare my independence from [habit]. It holds no power over me." Cover the Devil card and slip of paper with the Lovers card. Look at the Lovers when you need a boost in confidence. At the end of the day, burn the paper and blow the ashes into the wind. |
