Spell: A Druidic Invisibility Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

The ancient Druids used plants for many purposes, including food, clothing, medicine, worship, and spellcraft. Fern symbolizes magic, discretion, and shelter. Because ferns grow in difficult places, they also represent people who have survived hardship. They are also easily overlooked. The Druids used fern to convey invisibility, or more precisely, the ability to pass without notice.
For this spell, you'll need a dried fern leaflet, gray thread, and two small pieces of smoked glass. A pair of melted marbles with a smoky or mirrored coating will work well too. Press the fern between the glass and bind it thoroughly with gray thread. Then say:

"Fern underfoot, fern under glen,
Safe I go out, safe home again.
No one to look, nothing to see
But smoke and leaves-surely not me."

Carry the charm with you when you need to pass by hostile places or people in peace.
