Send special blessings to Annapurna, the Hindu goddess who embodies the divine aspect of nourishment. Ransack cookbooks and contact elder relatives for ideas. Create a new recipe, or add an extra kick to one of your favorite dishes. Gather the ingredients and tools, and bring forth your best kitchen witchery skills. Perhaps you may wish to make this a true learning experience for the next generation. Or invite your best friends or coven to participate. Ground and center, state intentions, honor the elements and directions, and dive in. Be sure your Kitchen Witch oversees the entire celebration. Start with an easy and basic braise or stock. Divide into several pots and experiment with spices and ingredients. Everyone leaves with recipes and starter. Freeze any remaining. Say:
