| This Crone's sickle moon is a good time to see what ties need to be cut in your life. Perhaps there's a project you need to set aside or reassign, or a relationship that's not working. Ponder all the ties you have to your energy and resources, and then write down each one on a piece of cardstock or paper in an appropriate color (for example, blue for an emotional tie). Thread some black string through the card, and tie the other end to a black string you've tied around your waist.
Ground and center. Twirl deosil, letting the corded cards flutter around you. As you do so, say, nine times: "I'm spinning with all these responsibilities! I now KNOW which ones to cut!" At the end of your chant, slow to a stop and turn widdershins as you cut the lines you need to sever, saying: "I let you go in grace and love. Be blessed." Burn the cords and the discards, as well as any guilt you feel. |
