| Now is a good time to plant a tree, and garden centers offer a big selection at this time of year. But why not put some magical effort into it? That will create a bond between you and the tree, and make it yours. After you select a planting site, think about the kind of tree you want. Do you want a large shade tree, a fruit tree, or a small ornamental? After you decide, say words of power that you'll find the perfect tree for you. Once you get the tree home, water it well while still in the container or burlap; this shows the tree you care. After planting, press a penny into the soil as a sign of thanks. Then sprinkle a bit of your hair around the trunk as you say:
"With this coin and hair, we have a special bond that we'll always share." |
