| At Yule and Christmas, we celebrate the God aspect and his birth, the Sun God and Jesus. These are celebrations focusing on joy, renewal, warmth, and abundance, as we look toward spring. Early Pagan celebrations at this time of year honored the Horned God. Remnants of this are still evident at Christmas, but now reindeer fill this role.
This spell is meant to bring abundance into your life. On your altar, place a stag or reindeer decoration. Surround it with holiday symbols of virility and abundance, such as pine, pine cones, nuts, and fruitshaped ornaments. Light a red candle. On a piece of stationery, using a gold ink craft pen, write your wish, then seal it in an envelope. Let the candle burn a while, and hide your charm. At the summer solstice, burn your written charm in a ritual fire. |
