POSTED UNDER Moon, Winter

Spell: Winter's Reflection

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

The trees are bare. The moon casts an icy glow upon frozen landscapes. Nature has fallen into a deep sleep and nothing will stir her.

Those who dare to venture out do so quickly. Even animals appear only briefly, then return hastily to the warmth of their dens.

Yet in the stillness and quiet, we know magick stirs. Deep below the surface, life is quickening, sensing rebirth, no matter how far away it may seem.

For this spell, you will need a white candle, a quartz crystal, and a mirror.

Set the candle and crystal before the mirror. Light the candle. Hold the crystal before the candle. Allow your gaze to become soft.

As the flame reflects within the crystal, say:

"Mirror bright, Winter's night, Crystal quartz, I see your light. Within, without, light shines on me. All I see is heavenly."
