| To bless a new broom or renew an old one, mix a cup of warm water with a pinch of sea salt and allow it to sit in sunlight for several hours. Add a sprinkle of lemon juice or a few drops of cedar essential oil, then sprinkle or spray the water on the broom. Visualize the broom's ability to sweep negativity from any area and to clear space for rituals or spellwork. Use this chant:
"The power to cleanse, the power to clear, To send negativity far from here; To sweep the space and keep it clean, Bless this broom for its magic routine." |
