| This spell is to be used as an aid to increase courage or strength. In this spell, I use zinnia seeds because in old magical lore zinnias represented strength, and this is the time of year to plant them. The zinnias you plant should be a warm color-red, orange, or yellow are recommended. Select your seeds and plant them according to the directions on the package. Speak these words of power in a firm voice as you plant:
"Seeds that appear lifeless and dry, I ask that you grow, bloom, and delight my eye. And as you bloom beneath the sun's rays, My courage and strength increase to brighten my days." At high summer, your zinnias will stand tall and visitors to your garden will admire their beauty. But you, my magical friend, will know their real meaning. |
