| Use this spell to honor the memory of Martin Luther King Jr. You'll need a light-blue pillar candle and a peace-attracting herb such as lavender. Place the candle on your altar, then sprinkle some of the lavender around the candle and on the floor around you. Light the candle. Gaze at the flame and visualize planet Earth as it appears in photos taken from outer space. Ground and center, then say:
"We are one, we all live beneath the same sun, May peace come to everyone. We are one, we all live beneath the same moon and stars, May peace come to every country, near and far." After performing this spell, greet everyone with a smile. Offer assistance to anyone who may need help. Naturally, this spell won't work overnight, but think how powerful it would be if thousands of us performed it on this day! |
