Light one black and one white candle. Take a seat and place the candles in front of you. Focus on both candles and take a mental inventory of your life. Do you feel like your life is in balance the best it can be? If so, give thanks and give yourself a virtual pat on the back for achieving and maintaining that balance.
If you feel you are out of whack, spend time meditating and evaluating what is off. We often fall into patterns and don't even notice what is happening. Use this time to think about your work life, family life, other relationships, playtime, etc. Is there something you need to work on? The first step is realizing that something isn't quite right and then investigating to discover exactly what it is. Once you figure out where you are, you can figure out where you need to go next. |
