This spell uses the awesome power of a thunderstorm to banish an issue from your life. You’ll need a six-inch terracotta flowerpot saucer and some garden or potting soil. As a thunderstorm approaches, fill the saucer with the soil. Smooth out the soil. With your finger, a pencil, or a stick, write a word describing your problem in the soil, or draw a symbol or image of it. For example, if you’re having money worries, you could write “money” or draw a dollar sign. When done, place the saucer and soil outside. Go inside to wait out the storm and think about the rain cleansing the problem from your life.

When the storm passes, go out and check the soil. The word or image should be rinsed away. Scatter the soil on the ground. End by rinsing out the saucer. You may use it again for magic. Your problem should begin to diminish.
