Hanukkah is a festival of light that illuminates the darkness-symbolism that is also a metaphor for truth. To discover the truth in any situation, light each of the nine candles on a Hanukkah menorah, or use nine white taper candles on each night for nine nights. As you do so, chant:On the ninth night, place some jasmine and the stump of one of the burned down candles under your pillow so you will dream of the truth you seek. |
