Color of the day: Red
Incense of the day: Cinnamon This is the time of Rosh Hashanah, the days of judgment and remembrance. It is a time of prayer in hopes that one is not found lacking on Yom Kippur, when they are judged on their actions of the past year. Light a purple candle, set a bowl of water before it, and sit watching the flame's reflection dance in the water. Try to judge yourself honestly, and see where some atonement of your own might need to take place. Make a mental note of the more pressing transgressions, vowing to abolish bad habits from your life and to make amends for the wrongs that have been committed. Take steps to forgive those who have made transgressions against you as well, lightening your karmic debt. |
