| Tap into the sun's energy with this July spell to build your self-confidence. Light an orange or yellow pillar candle. Around the base of the candle, sprinkle some marigold petals and foliage. Sit before the candle, and relax and center yourself. Form a vision in your mind of whatever it is you wish to accomplish.
Now open your eyes and gaze at the candle's flame. Watch as it grows, and really look at its colors-yellow, orange, and gold. See the colors mingling, glowing like a mini sun. See yourself in the center of the flame achieving your goal. Begin to chant: "I can, I will, I must!" Chant at least three times. After chanting, breathe deeply three times. Return to your everyday world. Extinguish the candle. End the ritual by placing the marigold petals/foliage in a small dish, and keep on your altar to keep the spell active. |
