Spell: A Cup of Cocoa for Saint Brigid

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Today is Saint Brigid's Day, that goddess guised as a saint who is, among other things, the patroness of dairy maids (which connects her to the ewes coming into milk at this time of year). February also brings us Lupercalia, Juno Februata, and Valentine's Day, celebrations of the passion that sparks all month ( perhaps with a bit of commercial help!).

Bring Brigid and love together with a hot chocolate spell. Add your favorite chocolate medium to a mug of warm milk (which will also ward off winter chills!). Stir the brew clockwise to invoke her, and speak this incantation:

"Brigid, divine saint and goddess,
Bless me with your gracious goodness.
In milk is possibility,
In chocolate, love and empathy.
Come together on this day
To bring your light and love my way."

Toast the goddess and savor every sip, knowing you are blessed with love and potential.
