| Today, the Moon is waning and the Sun is in Capricorn. One of Capricorn's rulerships is work. Because the Moon-your internal landscape-is waning, contemplate negative emotions attached with your job, career, or occupation.
If you have more than one of these, contemplate all negative aspects associated with the various forms of work. Write these negative aspects-as many as you can think up-with black ink on a piece of parchment paper. Step outside, ignite the paper, and say something like: Sacred flame of transformation, banish these stresses, woes, and fears. Take from me these trepidations for now and all my years. Finish by sprinkling a good amount of banishing herbs (such as nettles, black pepper, and valerian root) on the ashes. Stomp once on the pile with a "so mote it be!" Also, be sure to do everything you can to lessen your stresses on the job and make your work life the best it can be. |
