| Today is Sewing Machine Day.
This device automated sewing so that people no longer had to make every garment by hand-stitching. Using a sewing machine used to be a ubiquitous skill, but has since dwindled. Some Pagans still make their own ritual robes with a sewing machine, or by hand, because they feel that instills more magic into the finished product. There are many other small appliances that make our lives more convenient. Here is a spell to protect them and keep them running. You'll need a washer or any other tiny machine part. Hold it to the side of a new appliance to take an imprint of being in perfect working order. Then say: "Bright and new, Stay so true, Working for me, So mote it be!" Concentrate on that smooth running. Keep the washer near your sewing machine or other appliances. |
