Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Color of the day: White
Incense of the day: Poplar

The ancient Irish celebrated Brigantia, a festival of the goddess Brigid, at this time of year. It focused on her aspect as the All-Seeing Eye. People made diamond-shaped goddess eyes and solar crosses out of wheat straw. You can make another type of goddess eye by fastening two dowels into an equal armed cross and then winding different colors of yarn around them to make a diamond shape. Hang these charms on the door to protect your house from harm.
